Some of you thought I was a goat herder in Scottish highlands, the others were sure that I run a local militia in Tibet while selling souvenirs in the southern provinces of China - all is 100% true! But there is more...Let me assure you - there is purpose and design in madness, which borders on self-realization and world domination in some artistic non-militant way. <br /><br />Last year, after having to lock myself in my bedroom in Montreal for over two months, I came out with a detailed plan on how to start my own wedding photography business. Having dabbled with photography for over a decade, and having ran a business or two in the past, I figured out a combination of both that would allow me for a speedy start, set me apart from the others, and.. wouldn't cramp my style, so to speak. Thus, Lux Photo Studios was born, and started to bear fruits just a few months after its conception. Having gone through major public image upgrades, marketing campaigns, trade shows and bridal fairs, the business now is in full throttle and continues to grow by leaps and bounds on a daily basis.<br /><br />As for the insider's scoop on what exactly Lux is and how it is different from any other studio out there, well - it's a combination of an upscale boutique studio and an assembly line, that employs some of the biggest names in wedding photography and video, carries the most luxurious line of albums and other wedding by-products, spoils clients with chic presentation and superb customer service. The operation grew to almost thirty professionals in the past year; from photographers to editors to film makers to album designers to graphic artists to client care representatives and more, while keeping the company very functional and efficient.<br /><br />What does the future hold for Lux? After having established a swanky office in New York across from Penn Station, we are opening up representations in Montreal and Miami, and the plans are underway to have fore posts in Toronto, Los Angeles, and even as far as Tel Aviv, Dubai and Moscow. The idea is to become a truly global enterprise, while maintaining the highest standards of photo and video work.
